He and Tillerson have been quietly emptying the State Department of Democrat patronage jobs and continues as we speak. They have cut the Spending by 30% and maybe more the Deep States are crying foul.
Good, glad to hear that!!!
A man with a history of mental illness has been arrested by the FBI for making death threats against Sen. Joni Ernst. (R-IA).
Robert William Simet, of Omaha, was arrested on Friday after he made comments at a venue in Iowa where Ernst would be speaking the next day. Simet made comments alleging that Ernst was connected to the islamic State, and that he believed that he “could kill” the senator at the event. Simet also reportedly said that everyone in the government should be “killed off.”
An arrest affidavit says employees of a Pacific Junction, Iowa, motorcycle shop told an FBI agent that Simet had been there Wednesday and made several statements about Ernst, including that he believed that she was a member of the Islamic State.
Simet said he knew that Ernst was scheduled to speak Saturday at an event at the motorcycle business. Simet is accused of telling an employee that he “could kill” Ernst at the event, and telling another employee that “everyone in the government needs to be killed off.” (Omaha World-Herald)

Trump Intervenes In Afghanistan To Do This Good Deed
President Donald Trump intervened directly this week when a group of young girls from Afghanistan were unable to enter the country to compete in a US robotics contest.
Politico reports that US officials have reversed their decision to ban a group of Afghan girls from entering the United States following an intervention from President Trump. The girls were set to travel to the US to participate in an international robotics competition but were denied US visas until President Trump stepped in.
Dina Powell, Trump’s deputy national security advisor, issued a statement saying, “The State Department worked incredibly well with the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that this case was reviewed and handled appropriately.” She continued to commend the Afghan girls, saying, “We could not be prouder of this delegation of young women who are also scientists — they represent the best of the Afghan people and embody the promise that their aspirations can be fulfilled. They are future leaders of Afghanistan and strong ambassadors for their country.”
The girls’ initial visa applications were reportedly denied twice, but the reasons for this were not revealed by the State Department citing privacy laws. When President Trump was made aware of this particular case, he spoke to officials at the National Security Council, asking them to see what they could do to rectify the situation.
I just hope they keep an eye on these girls. You never know!!
BREAKING: Border Wall Bonanza, Dems Failed
House Democrats tried but failed Friday to block spending on President Trump’s proposed border wall under the annual defense bill...
Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham, D-N.M., pressed for a House floor vote that would have added a prohibition on any Pentagon spending to build the wall. She did so at the end of debate on the National Defense Authorization Act, and her move was a protest against the House GOP decision to strip language out of that bill that would have prevented the NDAA from authorizing work on the border wall.
“The only way this body can guarantee that Trump cannot use Department of Defense funds to construct the border wall is to put that prohibition in the bill explicitly,” Grisham said on the floor.
But Republicans thwarted the move, and Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, received a standing ovation for his opposition speech that said the House needs to quickly approve the fiscal 2018 defense authorization bill.
The NDAA was passed by the chamber moments later, in a vote that saw most Democrats support it.

Trump Puts Pressure on Senate To Fund Crucial Campaign Promise
President Trump tweeted Wednesday evening about a positive development regarding his campaign pledge to build a wall across the U.S.-Mexico border: A House Appropriations Committee bill that was introduced Tuesday, which allocates $1.6 billion to begin construction.
“Big WIN today for building the wall. It will secure the border & save lives. Now the full House & Senate must act!” he tweeted along with a link to a White House blog post about the legislation.
“Keeping Americans safe by protecting our homeland is a top priority. This funding bill provides the resources to begin building a wall along our southern border, enhance our existing border security infrastructure, hire more border patrol agents, and fund detention operations,” said House Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee Chairman John Carter.
Of the $13.8 billion allocated to customs and border protection, $1.6 billion is for the wall, $100 million will go toward hiring 500 additional Border Patrol agents, $106 million for aircraft and sensors, $131 million for new technology, and $109 million for “non-intrusive inspection equipment.”
