The 14th does nothing that is not included in the other sections of the Constitution except giving the Courts the "NO STATE SHALL" statement that hey use to give them power over the States and renders the 10th amendment useless.
So, IMO there is no reason not to repeal it - the Privilege an immunities statement is include in other amendments - again not needed.
If it remains the courts will continue to legislate from the bench.

Trump Has United States Becoming World Leader In This Energy Source.
The U.S. will begin exporting more natural gas than it imports during President Donald Trump’s first year in office, according to a report published Wednesday by the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The country’s status as a net exporter is expected to expand well beyond 2017 because of a growing amount of exports to Mexico and a decline in imports from Canada, EIA’s report noted.
The U.S. became the world’s largest natural gas producer in 2009 after the country surpassed Russia.
mexico meanwhile is updating its pipeline infrastructure to make way for future imports from the U.S. Its appetite for natural gas has grown rapidly, as mexico’s energy industry expects to increase its natural gas use for electric power generation by about 50% over the next five years.
Much of EIA’s report is based on the expectation that the country will continue constructing energy pipelines that crisscross from the U.S. to Canada.

Mad Dog Mattis Has Strong Warning For North Korea.
The search for State Department emails regarding the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi attacks received a boost this week when a federal judge ordered the agency to search the government email accounts of several killary clinton aides.
Washington D.C. District Court Judge Amit Mehta, an obuma appointee, ordered State to search the accounts of Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan, clinton’s top aides at the State Department, in response to a lawsuit filed by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.
Mehta said that the State Department did not do enough to search for all emails it has on its computer systems regarding the Benghazi attacks, which left four Americans dead.
The State Department reviewed the 30,000-plus emails that clinton returned to the agency in Dec. 2014. It has also searched emails that Abedin, Mills and Sullivan sent and received on personal accounts.
“Secretary clinton used a private email server, located in her home, to transmit and receive work-related communications during her tenure as Secretary of State,” Mehta said.
Landel -- The radical left wants to play games with our national security to further their extreme agenda.
Well, thankfully, they are not in charge. . . We are.
Over the last six months, our president has kept his promise to enhance border security and enforce our immigration laws.
Just look at what our conservative majority is doing to keep you safe:
The radical left and biased media cannot stand the idea that we are enforcing our nation’s laws. From lies to delay tactics, they are trying to undermine our government in every possible way.
We need to show them that we will never believe their lies.
Will you stand with your conservative majority and signal your support for a safer America?
Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, requested the immigration history of a former congressional IT aide and his associates, who was arrested last month.
Grassley, R-Iowa, is seeking more information on Imran Awan, his wife, his two brothers, and two of his close friends in connection to the scandal. The Iowa Republican was first elected to the Senate in 1981.
Capitol Police have accused Awan and his associates of violating congressional security policies and stealing equipment from Congress.
Awan is from Pakistan, and was arrested by the FBI in July as he tried to board a flight to the country.
“In light of the alleged illegal activity, the committee seeks to better understand Awan and his associates’ immigration histories, therefore, please provide the Alien File for the individuals listed below, Please also include any temporary files, working files, and all documents and items contained in them that were generated by DHS or in its possession.”
Grassley said in an Aug. 4 letter to Elaine Duke, acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. The letter was made public by the committee Monday. Besides Awan, the immigration files were requested for his wife, Hina Alvi; his brothers, Abid and Jamal; his sister-in-law, Natalia Sova; and his friend, Rao Rabbas. All are suspects in the criminal investigation, which became public in February.
“Awan began working as an IT aide in 2004,” Grassley said in the letter. “Later, his wife, two brothers, and two friends began working as IT aides for nearly 30 congressmen. Over the span of 13 years, they collected more than $4 million—a sum that is reported to be three times higher than the norm for a government contractor.”
All of the congressmen involved are House Democrats, including several on the intelligence, foreign affairs, and homeland security committees. The IT aides had access to all of the emails and office files of the congressmen, who employed them on a shared basis.
The employment of all of the suspects was terminated in February, except Awan’s wife, who was retained by Rep. Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., until March. Wasserman Schultz, who was the Democratic National Committee chairman until July 2016—kept Awan on her payroll until July 25.
Awan was arrested July 24 at Dulles International Airport by the FBI, U.S. Capitol Police, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection before he could board the flight to Pakistan. His wife returned to Pakistan in March, along with their three children.
Authorities charged Awan with bank fraud in connection with a $165,000 mortgage loan from the Wright Patman Congressional Federal Credit Union. Awan wire transferred $283,000 to Pakistan prior to his attempt to flee the country, according to a court document filed by the FBI.
Within hours of his arrest, Awan retained Chris Gowen as his defense attorney. Gowen is a longtime associate of former resident bill clinton and former Secretary of State killary clinton. *** MEANING THAT HE'LL GET OFF. ***
Government Has No Clue How Much Land It Bought With $815 Million.
*** ARE YOU BEGINNING TO SEE WHY OUR NATIONAL DEBT IS SO HIGH? ***
The Interior Department's inspector general surveyed 108 programs and found that 16 of them awarded a total of 701 grants in two years to purchase $815 million worth of land. The department’s officials couldn’t provide its inspector general with data about land purchase programs, the watchdog’s report said. Interior Department officials have no idea how much land they bought for $815 million, nor if the properties are being used for their intended purpose, a government watchdog reported.
The Interior Department “does not centrally track information about grants awarded for the purpose of acquiring land,” the inspector general said, adding:
As such, the Interior Department is unable to identify how much grant money has been used to purchase land, how much land has been purchased, and whether that land is being used for its intended purpose.
Without an adequate process in place to monitor funds used to purchase land, the department is potentially exposed to significant risk of wasted funds.
Additionally, less than half of the 278 grant recipients reported their land inventories to the department programs that funded them, which violated federal regulations, according to the Aug. 2 report.
With “less than 44% of grantees reporting … we are concerned that both the awarding agencies and the grantees are either unaware or noncompliant,” the report said.
The failure to provide inventories, it said, “coupled with the fact that the Interior Department is not tracking the awards centrally, could hamper monitoring efforts to ensure that land is being used properly.”-- The inspector general found one case where a bar was built on conservation land and another where “a reservoir designated for breeding fish stock had been completely drained,” the report said.
The inspector general noted the data is likely incomplete, meaning the watchdog’s figures were likely underestimated.
The “number of grants and land value could be substantially higher than what we were able to determine through our survey,” the report said.
