Ken Paxton for Speaker

Gun Owners of America E-Mail Alert

In spite of Texas being such a pro-gun state overall, the current Speaker of the House, Joe Straus, has impeded getting pro-Second Amendment legislation passed.
Although nominally a Republican, he is in bed with Democrats and liberals of both parties. In fact, when he was elected Speaker last session, only 11 Republicans voted for him! Most of those were liberals. The other 65 votes for his Speakership came from Democrats.
That's right. When Republicans held a majority in the House (albeit a slim one), Straus "reached out" and got more than five times the votes from the other party.
So how did he reward those who took part in this collusion?
With committee chairmanships, of course. Such is the power of the Speaker. Ways and Means -- which controls your money -- went to a far-left liberal Democrat. And more than a dozen other chairs were given to Democrats as well. But probably the most damaging was installing Brian McCall as Chair of Calendars. That's a very powerful position, as Calendars basically decides when (if ever) a given piece of legislation makes it to the floor. If you want to avoid recorded votes on pro-gun bills, make sure you have a liberal lackey as Chair of Calendars.

And that's exactly what RINO Joe Straus did.

For gun owners, it has been a tough two years. As just the most recent example, Straus and his lieutenants made sure that open carry legislation would get stalled. In a typical and disgusting manner, they took pains to run out the clock before action could be taken on the floor of the House.

Unfortunately, it gets even worse.

You see, Straus has been collecting so-called pledge cards to get representatives to promise to vote for him for Speaker when the legislature convenes in January. The only thing really wrong with that is that legislators should listen to their constituents' wishes before making such a pledge. But Joe Straus hasn't stopped with just seeking support. We do know that legislators are withdrawing their pledges. We do know that an ethics complaint has been filed. And at least one representative has openly claimed that Straus' staff threatened to use this year's redistricting process to literally redraw the map so he wouldn't have a seat if he didn't vote for Straus.

Please understand that while GOA is a single-issue (gun rights) group, and never rates a politician on other issues, to understand who Joe Strauss is it helps to look at his overall record: he has literally campaigned for liberal Democrats, gets only 27% from Young Conservatives of Texas, opposed voter ID, supported Incumbent Protection legislation, and the list just goes on and on.

You can make of that what you will -- GOA's position is that conspiring to block open carry ALONE is reason enough to demand a new Speaker. We're a gun rights group.

Fortunately, Texans have a chance to do a complete turnaround. Conservative and Tea Party grassroots groups all across the state are saying that enough is enough -- Joe Strauss has to go.

And there's an excellent alternative. Representative Ken Paxton, A-rated by GOA, is seeking to defeat Straus.

Please urge your Republican representative to vote for Paxton. There is a lot that needs to be brought to a vote in addition to open carry. Texas needs constitutional carry as in Vermont, Alaska and Arizona. In those states citizens can carry a concealed firearm without seeking permission from a bureaucrat.

Also needed is a Wyoming-style Firearms Freedom Act, which would criminally penalize a federal agent seeking to enforce unconstitutional federal gun laws in contravention of state law. The Firearms Freedom Act nullifies such unconstitutional laws if a firearm is made in the state, is identified as such and stays in the state. That's because federal gun controls use the Commerce Clause as an excuse, and a gun that never crosses state lines obviously has never been involved in interstate commerce.

Please contact your Republican state representative right away, and urge others to do so, also. Even though the new Speaker will not be officially elected until January, misguided Straus supporters need to be pressured to withdraw their pledges as others have already done.

Massive pro-gun gains were made in the Texas House this election cycle. Let's not let those go to waste by keeping a RINO as Speaker!

A complete contact roster appears at the end of this alert. Please pay particular attention to those who do not have "house.state.tx.us" in their contact information. These people are generally the true incoming freshmen, who haven't had time yet to be sucked in by the Straus political machine in Austin.

You can identify your district number at http://www.house.state.tx.us/resources/frequently-asked-questions/#... but that may not reflect the election results, so please refer to the list below once you know your district.

Also, a pre-written letter is provided for your copy-and-paste convenience. Feel free to add your own thoughts. Regardless, insist that your representative support solidly pro-gun Ken Paxton for Speaker, rather than liberal obstructionist Joe Straus!

----- Pre-written letter -----

Dear Representative,

Now that the electorate has emphatically insisted that the core values defining our great state should reign supreme in the Texas House, it is up to you to make certain that those values are respected.

One such core belief is that of Second Amendment rights. It is simply unacceptable for you to elect someone who is not solidly pro-gun to the position of Speaker of the House!

It is apparent to me that Joe Straus puts his personal ambition before my gun rights.

On the other hand, Ken Paxton is unabashedly pro-gun. He should get your vote for Speaker.

Even if you have already pledged support for Straus, you will not be alone in withdrawing that support, especially in light of recent events.

I will consider a vote for Straus as Speaker to be a direct vote against my Second Amendment rights. I urge you to vote for Rep. Paxton instead.

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) – 2 hrs 6 mins ago– Federal troops and police
prepare Rio slum offensive. Marines join Brazil drug battlel Backed by armored personnel carriers and 800 soldiers, police prepared a major offensive on Friday to occupy one of Rio de Janeiro's largest slums where heavily armed drug traffickers bunkered up after days of violence. Forty-six people have been killed since police first clashed earlier this week with suspected gang members who attacked police stations and burned nearly 100 cars and buses, and the planned advance could push the death toll higher.Authorities blamed the assaults on orders from imprisoned gang members angry at police efforts to take control of their turf in more than a dozen slums. The latest wave of violence raises renewed doubts over the city's ability to host the 2014 soccer World Cup and the 2016 Olympics, even though sports authorities have said they trust the government's security measures.
Pedestrians applauded as the military convoy rattled through city streets on the way to the Alemao favela, or shantytown, where traffickers took shelter after fleeing from advancing police on Thursday. Masked men, some dressed in shorts and camouflage T-shirts, defiantly waved their machineguns in the air. Others pointed their guns down the winding roads of the hilly slum, apparently on watch for advancing police officers. Some of them fired shots at a police helicopter patrolling the area, according to a Reuters witness. "We'll invade Alemao at the right moment. We're depending on information from intelligence services," said Roberto Sa, Rio de Janeiro state's under-secretary of public security. Fighting in the area on Friday killed at least three people and injured 10. A Reuters photographer was shot in the shoulder by a bullet outside of the Alemao favela. He was being treated in a local hospital. His injury was not life-threatening. Elsewhere, residents have also had to take cover from gunfire and skirt burning buses on their way to work. The government defended the unusual deployment of army soldiers, saying they would primarily provide backup and logistic support to free police officers to engage the gangs. "The confrontation is necessary so we can have a state in peace," Defense Minister Nelson Jobim told a news conference. The use of the armed forces to quell urban violence remains controversial in Brazil, where the military fought and tortured political dissidents during its 1964-1985 rule. Human rights groups regularly accuse police of using excessive force. Still, most residents appear to back Rio de Janeiro Governor Sergio Cabral's hard line on crime. Cabral stressed his government did not rely only on force to quell violence but had invested billions of reais to improve the quality of life in Rio de Janeiro's impoverished slums. Opinion polls show that public security is one of the top issues President-elect Dilma Rousseff will face when she takes office on January 1.

Grassfire Nation
"This is the most disturbing news I've ever heard regarding the immigration crisis.
Please read our update below and alert as many of your friends as possible! Urge them
to take action with you by clicking below and signing our national petition" --Steve
Our nation is being invaded by armed forces and our President's response is to
post signs warning citizens not to travel in that area of the country. Grassfire has
just learned that the obama administration has taken "dramatic" steps to secure a particularly dangerous corridor between Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona by posting
signs that read: "Active Drug and Human Smuggling Area... may encounter Armed Criminals... Use public lands north of Interstate 8". As reported in the Washington
Times, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, whose county lies at the center of the corridor, said "Mexican drug cartels literally do control parts of Arizona." He added the illegal
activity is happening just "70 to 80 miles from the border and just 30 miles from the
fifth largest city in the U.S." - Phoenix. Oh, and let's not forget obama has also
designated 1,200 National Guard troops to serve in an administrative capacity only.
This is down from the originally promised 3,000, and to date, only 30 have arrived at
the border. Meanwhile, he's already suing the state of Arizona for attempting to secure
the border by enacting SB 1070 - a law that essentially mirrors the federal law that
wasn't being enforced. This is shear and utter madness! We are not defined by our
borders" Those were obama's words in a speech where he chastised the new Arizona
law, words that make it painfully clear that he has no intention in securing our border,
and every intention of rubbing it out! obama has also publicly stated that he dislikes the "message" of a border fence (the one barrier that has actually been proven to stop
the flow of illegals into our land)! Instead, he continues to loom in the darkness searching
for nefarious ways to advance his aggressive amnesty agenda,- an agenda that would
include legalizing more than 10 million illegals - giving them taxpayer supported benefits!
This latest incursion into our land has got to be the final straw, the one that motivates
every citizen to take immediate action. We are being attacked, and our so-called
Commander-in-Chief has ordered us to retreat! Grassfire Nation will not retreat. In fact,
we are boldly moving forward right to Capitol Hill demanding that our borders be secured
and our liberty restored! But we need your help. We are calling on members like you Patrick H., that have already signed our "Secure Our Borders" petition and urging them to help us rally the critically needed extra support to dramatically impact our elected officials on Capitol Hill. This is a battle that we cannot afford to lose, that's why it is imperative that you forward this message to 30-40 friends urging them to read this disturbing report and sign our petition by clicking below:
The media aren't interested in making this an issue. That's why it must come from the grassroots - from people like you whose liberty and way of life is being threatened.
Unless the citizens of our nation respond, this cancer will spread beyond Arizona affecting every state in our great land. Don't allow that to happen. Take action right now by forwarding this important message today. Thanks in advance for your tremendous support.

They are a very good group and I get them sending me things too. I just hope we can keep the Congress from passing any immigration law. Can you imagine a President putting up signs instead of taking care of the situation? He is the poorest excuse not only as President but as a man too. All we can do is continue to fight Congress until they listen, if they ever do.

SAN DIEGO – Investigators suspect a major drug cartel was the driving force behind two long, sophisticated tunnels connecting Mexico with the U.S. that were discovered this month along with more than 40 tons of marijuana. Authorities said an underground passage located Thursday was similar to one found earlier — both running around 2,000 feet from Mexico to San Diego and equipped with lighting, ventilation, and a rail system for drugs to be carried on a small cart. The tunnels are believed to be the work of Mexico's Sinaloa cartel, headed by that country's most-wanted drug lord, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, said Mike Unzueta, head of investigations at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in San Diego. "We think ultimately they are controlled by the same overall cartel but that the tunnels were being managed and run independently by different cells operating within the same organization," Unzueta said Friday. The tunnel found Thursday is more than seven football fields in length and extends from the kitchen of a home in Tijuana, Mexico, to two warehouses in San Diego's Otay Mesa industrial district. Three men were arrested in the United States, and the Mexican military raided a ranch in Mexico and made five arrests in connection with the tunnel, authorities said. U.S. authorities have discovered more than 125 clandestine tunnels along the Mexican border since the early 1990s, though many were crude and incomplete. The passage found Thursday is one of the most sophisticated to date, with an entry shaft in Mexico lined with cinderblocks and the rail system, Unzueta said. U.S. authorities do not know how long the latest tunnel was operating. Unzueta said investigators began to look into it in June on a tip that emerged from a large bust of marijuana, cocaine and methampethamine by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. U.S. authorities followed a trailer from one of the warehouses to a Border Patrol checkpoint in Temecula, where they seized 27,600 pounds of marijuana. The driver, whose name was not released, was arrested, along with two others who went to a residence in suburban El Cajon that had $13,500 cash inside."That(trailer)was literally filled top to bottom, front to back," Unzueta said. "There wasn't any room for anything else in that tractor-trailer but air." Three tons of marijuana were found in a "subterranean room" and elsewhere in the tunnel on the U.S. side, authorities said. Mexican officials seized four tons of pot at a ranch in northern Mexico, bringing the total haul to more than 20 tons. The discovery of the cross-border tunnel earlier this month marked one of the largest marijuana seizures in the United States, with agents confiscating 20 tons of marijuana they said was smuggled through the underground passage. That tunnel ran the length of six football fields under the border and warehouses in Mexico and San Diego. One of the warehouses involved in the tunnel discovered Thursday is only a half-block away.In Thursday's discovery, the tunnel's cinderblock-lined entry in Mexico dropped 80 to 90 feet to a wood-lined floor, Unzueta said. From the U.S. side, there was a stairway leading to a room about 50 feet underground that was full of marijuana."It's a lot like how the ancient Egyptians buried the kings and queens," Unzueta said.
Several sophisticated tunnels have ended in San Diego warehouses. ICE began meeting with landowners last month to warn them about leasing space to tunnel builders."These owners of warehouses, they need to know their customers, they need to know who's in there leasing these things," Unzueta said.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Soldiers and police crouching behind armored vehicles trained their rifles on dozens of entrances to a sprawling slum Saturday, preparing to invade and try to push drug gangs out an area long considered the most dangerous in Rio de Janeiro, a city set to host the 2016 Olympics. Before heading into what would certainly be a pitched fight, however, police said they were offering the traffickers one last chance to turn themselves in. A delicate calm held after a night that saw intense exchanges of gunfire, filling the dark sky with bright streaks as bullets whizzed into and out of the Alemao slum complex — an area near the highway to the international airport that is known locally as the "Gaza Strip." Soldiers in camouflage, black-clad police from elite units and regular police held their ground at the entrances to the complex, a grouping of a dozen slums that climb up gentle slopes where more than 85,000 people live, according to the Brazilian government. The standoff comes after a week of intense and widespread violence in Rio, with dozens of mass robberies of motorists on key roadways, more than 100 cars and buses set on fire and at least 35 deaths, mostly suspected traffickers. Authorities say the gangs are protesting against a 2-year-old police campaign that has pushed the criminals out of slums where they have long ruled with impunity. It's an effort to secure Rio before the city hosts the finals of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics. Police spokesman Henrique Lima Castro Saraiva said authorities had designated a section of a street at the base of the slum as a zone where traffickers could turn themselves in by walking into the area with their guns held above their heads. "It's an opportunity that we're giving," said Lima Castro. "We're not retreating from the decision to pacify Rio. We're at the final moments getting at these traffickers."It was not immediately clear if any drug gang members had handed themselves over to police. Rio de Janeiro's governor, Sergio Cabral, has vowed repeatedly to break the back of drug gangs that have ruled hundreds of shantytowns in the city of 6 million people and he and other officials say now is the turning point in that effort. Vila Cruzeiro, a slum neighboring the Alemao, was occupied by police forces Thursday. Video from Globo TV's helicopter showed about 200 heavily armed men running from Vila Cruzeiro across the green hilltop that separates it from Alemao."Sooner or later, we're going to get these criminals," Rio state Public Safety Director Jose Beltrame told the Globo television network Friday night. "The anguish of Rio's citizens is my anguish. But we have our objectives and we cannot retreat." Many Alemao residents spent the night away from home for fear of being caught in crossfire. The death count since Sunday, when the violence began, climbed to 35 by Saturday morning, with four more people confirmed dead. About 123 have been detained and 76 arrested, said police spokesman Henrique Lima Castro Saraiva. The chief Brazil photographer for the Reuters news agency, Paulo Whitaker, suffered a non-life-threatening bullet wound in the shoulder. The source of the shot was not immediately clear. The human rights organization Amnesty International complained that police have been too heavy-handed.
"The police response has put communities at risk," said Patrick Wilcken, Amnesty International's Brazil researcher, in a statement. "The authorities must ensure that the security and well-being of the broader population comes first and foremost in any operation carried out in residential areas." Many Rio residents seemed to welcome the aggressive stance, however, applauding as armored vehicles rolled by and voicing hope that a new push would reclaim areas of their city that had been lawless for years. An information hot line where residents can pass on tips about the movements of drug traffickers received a record number of phone calls over the last few days, the coordinator, Zeca Borges, told the Rio's O Globo newspaper. "People are supporting the operation," he said. A mother pushing her 1-year-old daughter in a stroller alongside Ipanema beach said she often thought police were too aggressive, but this time, she supported the law enforcement takeover of the slums. "I'm not one of these people who says you just have to shoot the criminals," said Flavia Tavares de Almeida. "But we have this beautiful city, with 99.9 percent of people who are just workers, and want to live their lives, and are being terrorized by these traffickers." Cabral said police taking the Vila Cruzeiro slum and poised to enter Alemao was a sign of a new Rio. "We have demonstrated to those who don't respect the law ... the pre-eminence of a democratic state governed by the law," he said. "Bringing peace to this population makes this a very important day for Rio." A P writers Bradley Brooks in Sao Paulo, Cristian Salazar in New York and APTN producer Flora Charner in Rio de Janeiro contributed to this report.

Pedro Fonseca Pedro Fonseca (Reuters) 1 hr 26 mins ago. Brazil's RIO DE JANEIRO is tense, as police close in on slum gang. Police positioned armored vehicles on the edge of a Rio de Janeiro slum at dusk on Saturday in preparation for a possible offensive to root out drug traffickers behind a wave of urban violence that has killed at least 46 people.A cordon of more than 1,000 police and army officers sealed off the Alemao slum, or favela, as part of an unusually determined effort by security forces to take control of territory that has long been controlled by drug gangs. Police said early on Saturday that suspected traffickers should give themselves up while they had the chance. As night fell, armored police vehicles were positioning themselves inside of the slum's outer limits."There is not the slightest chance traffickers can win in this war in Alemao," Sergio Duarte, head of the military police, told reporters, referring to the surrounded shantytown. Authorities have cast the battle as part of a larger effort to stamp out violence in the city ahead of the Olympic Games in 2016. Drug gangs have fought back by setting fire to around 100 cars and buses and firing on police with automatic weapons. "We are in position to invade Alemao at any moment. It's better they give themselves in now and bring their weapons while there's still time, because when we invade, it's going to be more difficult," Duarte said early on Saturday.Police stationed a secure truck at a street on the edge of the favela to bring in gang members who surrendered. Police said they had caught at least 15 people who tried to break through the cordon, including two suspected gang leaders. Suspected traffickers fled to Alemao from the Vila Cruzeiro slum after police invaded it earlier this week and took control. Local media say officers have since found guns and grenades there and a machine to count bank notes from the traffickers' lucrative illegal trade. Large numbers of poor live in Rio's sprawling hillside favelas, making it harder for police to hunt down the gangs. Many innocent slum-dwellers have been killed over the years in the cross fire of gun battles between gangs and police. A 14-year-old girl was killed by a stray bullet during the Vila Cruzeiro invasion. Local media said some fearful favela residents have hung white flags outside their ramshackle brick homes. Police search vehicles and pedestrians entering Alemao. Gang members inside the slum have opened fire on the security forces to try to ward them off, injuring 10 people on Friday and Saturday, including a Reuters photographer. The latest wave of violence has cast some doubts over whether the city is safe enough to host the 2014 soccer World Cup and the 2016 Olympics, even though sports authorities have said they trust the government's security measures.(Additional reporting by Rodrigo Viga Gaier; writing by Peter Murphy; editing by Brian Winter and Mohammad Zargham)
Very good, Kirk!!! I go to stores and when the clerk or the greeter says Happy Holidays, I always say Merry Christmas back at them. I get some shocked looks, some big smiles and even a second response of Merry Christmas!!! The Store owners are the ones that are mostly promoting this.
I love when they call for a boycott of some of these stores that don't use Merry Christmas and they soon change their minds.
Yes, if we don't watch out we won't be celebrating Christmas anymore or even Easter so we have to be ever vigilant!!!!
Thanks, Kirk. I won't forget because they need a reminder!!!LOL
I love that song and thanks for putting it up on the site. Maybe I will soon
get the Christmas Spirit. I should now because it is snowing!!! We have about
3 inches right now with more coming.
Thanks again.
For anyone who missed the news, on Friday, a Somali born teenager tried to detonate, what he believed was a massive bomb, at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, Oregon.

This story hits at so many levels. First, none of the media are talking about the obvious. He is a Muslim and shouted “Allah Akbar” when he was arrested. That part has been reported, yet no one will state the obvious. He did not pick just any event he wanted to bomb. This was a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. While those of us who were born and raised in this country understand these Christmas tree lightings are generally not religious events, I do not think he did. This appears to be not only an attempt to kill a lot of people, but attack a specifically Christian event.

Anyone remember the underwear bomber from last year? He tried to blow up a bomb in his underwear, on Christmas day. Does anyone really believe he picked that day randomly? No, the Islamists picked one of the holiest days in the Christian calendar to do this attack.

Second, why is this guy even in the country? The media has reported that he is a naturalized citizen, but why was he here to begin with? None of the media stories, nor any online sources explain how he ended up in the United States. This begs the question of our immigration system.

The tradition of immigration has been that people came to America to be Americans. In generations past, immigrants to America would not even let their kids speak their native languages at home, because they wanted to them to be Americans. Now, the government encourages and aids the lack of fluency in English. People can now live in this country for decades and not learn English

One of the requirements almost every other country has, is if you want to emigrate to that country, is that the immigrant have skills that contribute to the new country and more importantly they want to become a part of their new country.

In America, just the opposite is true. Not only do we not close our borders, but also we make a special effort to bring people into this country who not only do not want to be Americans, but actually hate this country.

Last year, Congress, at the behest of the Obama regime appropriated over $20 million for the relocation of Hamas supporters from Palestine to America. Yes, that is Hamas, the terrorist group. We are importing Islamic terrorists to this country and paying them to come.

Does anyone else think this is a bad idea?

When conservatives take over the government in 2013, there will be so much to do. One of the most important things we must do is fix our insane immigration system. That includes, not only securing the border, but also changing the criteria by which people come to this country.

Immigration must be limited to those who want to be Americans and those who have skills that are needed by America. For years, liberals have used immigration to destabilize the country and create new liberal voting blocks. We have only a short time to turn this around before America goes the way of Europe.
When January 3rd, 2013 comes... we will either have returned to a limited Constitutional government or we will be permanently disfigured and hamstrung as a Nation. The current socialist system will be so innately entwined in the American culture, that any change will cause serious repercussions and foament possible violence.

We can not wait until 2013 to reinstate limited Constitutional Government... the House of Representatives must use it's oversight powers to investigate and incarcerate... Literally removing the enemies of the State from the seats of power by indictment using the powers of 'Special Prosecutors'. Key figures on the left who now sit in the Senate and House must be isolated and investigated for their abuses of power including, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to subvert the US Constitution, violations of the elections laws, fiduciary fraud, malfeasance of office, and a whole host of other crimes.

The goal of the 112th Congress must be to PURGE Congress of those elements in either party who have violated their oaths of office or violated the laws of the land. Start with known violators such as Charles Rangel, or the sitting Rep Aleece Hastings a formally impeached Federal Judge who is now sitting in violation of the Constitution. Neither the Senate or the President of the United States may supersede the US Constitution... Article 1, Sec 3, Clause 7 clearly states: "Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and DISQUALIFICATION to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States...". The Senate CAN NOT grant Hastings the right to sit as a Federal Representative according to the simple reading of the Constitution. One more reason to kick the bums out... every one. They can read.

In any event it is quite obvious that there are many members of Congress who are open for removal from office by means OTHER THAN ELECTIONS... it is time to use them in this Congress. If the 112th Congress refuses to act it will send a clear message that Congress and the Government of the United States is no longer the servant of the people or BOUND BY THE CONSTITUTION. Rep. Aleece Hastings an impeached Federal Judge is a clear and poignant example of just how far the corruption has gone... this man is a known impeached judge and Congress tries to justify his seat in Congress by saying the Senate did not SPECIFY he could not hold office... Give me a big brake.

The Constitution clearly states Rep Hastings can not hold ANY office of the United States... It also clearly states a Presidential pardon does not extend to impeachment. Impeachment can not be pardoned Article 2, Sec 2, Clause 2. It is a serious matter when Rep Hastings, flaunts the Constitution and as Chairman of the Legislative & Budget Process Subcommittee... house rules committee makes the statement... "There ain't no rules here, we're trying to accomplish something. . . .All this talk about rules... When the deal goes down . . . we make 'em up as we go along." clearly Hastings is correct.

In fact, Congress made up the rules which circumvented the US Constitution by allowing him to hold public office... It time to enforce the US Constitution. Hastings should be the number one member of the house up for ejection from his seat. I believe it is up to each House to CERTIFY the seating of their members... well the Republican majority should throw this bum out. If thy can not do this... they will do NOTHING to reassert the supremacy of the US Constitution, as the supreme law of the land and the rules by which Congress and the Government MUST operate.

It is time to insist that Congress act to purge out the corrupt... those who abuse their office, violate the law and hold the Constitution in disdane.
Ronald, I would love to see them purge the corrupt and there are many of them and they need to be gone. We do need to enforce and follow the Constitution, if we don't then we are never going to get this country back.
